The short version
Ozama’s FASTA Generator is designed to work in your browser. Sequence settings and generated sequences are processed locally and are not sent to Ozama servers by this tool.
Information we process
When you use the generator, your browser temporarily handles the label, sequence type, length, formatting choices, and generated output needed to provide the service. These values are not collected by Ozama through the generator.
If you contact us through Send feedback, we receive the information you include in that message, such as your email address and the contents of your feedback. We use it only to respond and improve the service.
Local storage and preferences
Some versions of the app may use browser storage to remember interface preferences or draft settings. This information stays on your device and can be removed by clearing the site data in your browser. Generated FASTA files are saved only when you select the download action.
How we use information
- To provide and maintain the FASTA Generator and its supporting pages.
- To answer requests and investigate reports submitted through feedback.
- To protect the service from misuse and keep it reliable.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your sequences for model training or advertising.
Third-party services
The application does not require an account, advertising trackers, or analytics scripts to generate a FASTA file. Links to other websites, if provided in our help content, are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.
Security and retention
Because sequence generation happens locally, Ozama does not retain generated sequences as part of this tool. Please remember that downloaded files and copied text can be accessed by anyone who has access to your device or destination.
